What is Repair Cost Contingency?

The repair contingency is used to cover any missed or unforeseen items within your repair cost estimate.  Repair contingency is calculated by multiplying the contingency % by the total repair costs estimate.  A good rule of thumb is to carry between 5 to 10% repair contingency.
